EPE CompanyElectric Power Engineers, Inc. (EPE), is a lead engineering consulting and management service firm for electric utilities, municipalities, cooperatives as well as energy resource developers.

Founded in 1968, EPE has extensive experience in transmission & distribution system analysis, substation and electric system design, energy market analysis, grid integration of energy resources, renewable energy, generation development, and design of wind, solar, biomass, as well as energy storage.

Our expertise is extensive particularly in the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT), as well as Southwest Power Pool (SPP), California Independent System Operator (CAISO), Western Electricity Coordinating Council (WECC), Midwest Independent Transmission System Operator (MISO) and New York Independent System Operator (NYISO).

At EPE, there are no geographical limitations to where our services extend. We have worked on projects all throughout North America as well as internationally.

EPE assisted in integrating Austin’s first utility scale solar farm

2011:

EPE expanded its coverage by opening offices in the Middle East

2013:

Upon San Onofre’s decommissioning, EPE assisted in a plan to replace its power output. Furthermore, EPE assisted in integrating 36 MW of Lithium Ion energy storage in the archive grid.

2015:

EPE adds significant number of staff and Engineers

2016:

By then, we had assisted over 60 generation companies in integrating over 20,000 MW globally
